Meet Our Team
Knowing who you might meet can make contacting us or visiting for the first time feel more familiar.
Meet the people behind The Inclusive Movement. You may see us at Happy Hub, meet us through community activities, or connect with us when you ask about our services.
We bring different experiences, interests and perspectives to our work, with a shared commitment to making participation more welcoming and accessible.
Carol
Founder, Director and Inclusion Consultant
Carol founded The Inclusive Movement to help turn inclusion into practical changes in everyday life.
Her work brings together professional knowledge and lived experience of neurodivergence, parenting and navigating services and systems. Carol works with organisations, families and communities through consulting, training, resources and community initiatives.
You may meet Carol during a workshop, consulting project or community activity, or when discussing how The Inclusive Movement can help.
Meet Carol in more detail
Chelsea
Inclusion Facilitator
Chelsea is part of the team supporting our community activities and opportunities for connection.
The Inclusion Facilitator role involves helping people feel welcome, understand what is happening and find ways to participate that work for them.
You may meet Chelsea when you arrive for an activity or when asking questions about taking part. You are welcome to explain what would help you settle in, communicate or feel more comfortable.
Naomi - Inclusion Facilitator
Naomi works alongside our team to support welcoming community activities and participation.
Inclusion facilitation means paying attention to the experience of the people joining in, including their interests, communication preferences and the support that helps them participate.
You may meet Naomi during an activity or visit. Whether you are ready to join in or would like to understand what is happening first, you can ask questions and share what would help.
Kooper - Junior Team Member
Kooper brings a young person’s perspective and a love of books, storytelling and creativity to our community.
Kooper is the young creator behind Cammy the Chameleon’s Mixed-Up Feelings, a story exploring how more than one feeling can be true at the same time.
Our junior team roles recognise that young people have ideas and contributions worth making space for. You may see Kooper around Happy Hub or at community activities.
Ariana - Junior Inclusion Facilitator
Ariana contributes to our community activities alongside the wider facilitation team.
The junior role provides opportunities to contribute ideas, develop experience and support the practical work that brings activities together.
You may meet Ariana helping with an activity or spending time alongside the team. Ariana is one of the familiar faces you may see as you get to know our community.
Lincoln - Junior Team member & founder of Happy Hub
Lincoln is the young founder of Happy Hub and an important part of its story.
Happy Hub reflects the value of having somewhere to connect through interests, enjoy activities and spend time with others in different ways.
Lincoln’s contribution reminds us to include young people in shaping the spaces and opportunities intended for them. You may see Lincoln at Happy Hub or during community activities.
Before you visit
Who you meet will depend on the day, activity and service.
You are welcome to contact us beforehand to ask:
Who will be there?
Who should I ask for when I arrive?
What will happen during the visit?
Can you explain the arrival arrangements?
What support or communication options can we discuss?
If knowing a name or seeing a photograph first would help, please tell us.
You can communicate in your own way
There is no expectation to make eye contact or greet someone in a particular way.
You are welcome to use speech, AAC, writing, gesture or your preferred communication method. You can ask for time to process information, a clearer explanation or support from someone you trust.
Tell us what helps. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis to ask about an adjustment.
