Training & Workshops

Education That Drives Real Change

At The Inclusive Movement, we believe inclusion begins with learning — and learning grows through shared understanding.
Our workshops and training programs empower individuals, teams, and organisations to move beyond awareness into meaningful, sustainable action.

Each program is grounded in lived experience, human rights, and evidence-informed practice — helping you build inclusive environments where everyone belongs.

Our Training Approach

  • Inclusion is a journey, not a one-time session.
Our Inclusion Journey Trajectory framework guides participants through five stages of growth — from awareness to advocacy — ensuring every learner can apply their knowledge confidently within their role or organisation.

🟢 Discover – Build awareness and curiosity.
🔵 Engage – Connect through shared learning and lived experience.
🟢 Learn – Expand your understanding through reflective, guided practice.
🟠 Apply – Turn insight into everyday inclusive action.
🟣 Advocate – Lead and inspire inclusion within your community.

Clinical Rigour. Deep Empathy.
A New Standard for Care.

Every Training, Workshop and Resource is Grounded in the GROW™ Neuroaffirming Framework

At The Inclusive Movement, we believe that behaviour is communication, inclusion is a human right, and meaningful support begins with understanding the whole person.

That's why all of our training, workshops, consulting, and community capacity-building initiatives are underpinned by the GROW™ Neuroaffirming Framework — a practical, evidence-informed framework that helps people move beyond compliance-based approaches and towards genuine understanding, connection, and belonging.

What is the GROW™ Neuroaffirming Framework and Practitioner Certification?

The GROW™ Framework provides a lens for understanding human behaviour through identity, unmet needs, communication differences, sensory experiences, relationships, and environmental factors. Rather than asking, "How do we change this behaviour?" we encourage people to ask, "What is this person communicating, and what do they need to feel safe, supported, and able to thrive?"

Whether you are a parent, educator, support worker, allied health professional, community organisation, or leader, the GROW™ Framework provides practical tools to help you create environments where people feel understood, respected, and included.

GROW™ Practitioner Certification

For those wanting to take their learning further, the GROW™ Practitioner Certification provides in-depth training in applying the framework across home, school, therapy, community, and workplace settings.

This is more than another behaviour support course.

It is a shift in perspective.

Participants learn how to understand behaviour through a neuroaffirming lens, identify the hidden messages behind distress and dysregulation, support nervous system safety, and build strategies that strengthen wellbeing, communication, connection, and participation.

By becoming GROW™ Certified, you join a growing movement of families, educators, practitioners, and organisations committed to creating communities where people are supported to belong, not simply expected to fit in.

Because when we understand the person, everything else begins to make more sense

Step 1: Foundations
Establish a strong foundation in disability, neurodiversity, inclusion, neuroaffirming practice, and the core principles that underpin the GROW™ Framework.

Step 3 : Level Two Advanced:
