Through partnerships with local organisations, NDIS providers and a deep commitment to accessibility, the "Circle of Inclusion" project will work to break down barriers and ensure that volunteering is a rewarding and fulfilling experience for all.

We can help! We provide support through organisation accessibility assessments and organsation training to ensure you are workplace ready to support your volunteers.

no qualifications are required for volunteering! Just bring a willing attitude and open mind.
In most circumstances you will need to provide a national police clearance and working with children check - the Broome Circle team can help walk you through this process if you do not already have these. Broome Circle will pay for these clearances so you are not out of pocket.
We will also ask you to register as a Broome Circle volunteer to ensure you are kept safe and protected through our volunteer insurances.

We work with individuals with disabilities to understand their strengths and interests and help find suitable volunteering placements. We work with you to develop your confidence and workplace skills to ensure a meaningful placement.

We provide personalised training and resources unique to your organisation - ranging from creating inclusive workspaces, to easy read policies and procedures, inclusive communication and beyond.
We also have a number of community-based trainings and on demand trainings available to organisations.

In most cases, the volunteering options are endless!
However, there may be times where a role may be not suitable for an individual, outside of the volunteer's availability, or only for a short period of time.
We do our best to make sure it is a good match for all parties involved, by working with the participant and the volunteer organisation, and problem solving suitable solutions.

NDIS providers play an important role in the Circle of Inclusion project.
We are partnering with NDIS organisations to helpShare the circle of inclusion project with individuals with disability who are interested in volunteering
Provide therapeutic recommendations regarding access requirements and assistive technology required for the participant
Providing transport to skill building sessions and community event opportunities
Provide peer support while volunteering, if required
